SABC3’s new prime time show, Hybrid Living, premiered on Wednesday, 30 April at 21:30. The show, sponsored by Toyota, aims to show viewers how ‘living a greener life does not necessarily mean having to sacrifice the finer things or the conveniences of modern living’.
“Hybrid Living is about integrating eco-awareness into our daily lives. The show is sensitive to the fact that while so many of us would like to do something about the environment we don’t always have the time and resources at hand. The content will, inter alia, seek to cover famous personalities/celebrities, events/launches, architecture, eco-cuisine, national/international environmental calendar events, decor, green gadgets/innovations, eco-fashion, eco-visionaries and locations and how it integrates with contemporary life.
From eco-friendly innovations, products, spaces and advice, Hybrid Living will feature chapters like Hybrid @ Home, Hybrid @ Work and Hybrid @ Play. The Green Minute, a snapshot eco-guide, will explore the latest in international eco-trends, online portals/blogs and green reads, to the weekly Hybrid Habit, which offers up sassy and easy eco-tips for living a more eco-friendly lifestyle.”
The show is presented by Gabriella Alberoni and Irvan Damon, and is produced by Ochre Moving Pictures.
